Frequently Asked Questions

1) Do I need any previous experience?

  • Not at all. Whether this is your first breathwork session or you've been practicing for years, you'll be guided every step of the way. Simply come with an open mind and a willingness to experience the journey.

2) How old do you have to be?

  • While breathwork can be a wonderful experience for children, younger participants often benefit from a different approach and facilitation style.

  • If you're interested in a private family or youth session, please feel free to reach out. I'd be happy to discuss the best option for you and your family.

3) What should I wear?

  • Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to relax and breathe freely. Layers are always a great idea, as body temperature can change throughout the experience.

4) What should I bring?

  • Just bring yourself, a bottle of water, lip chap (if you have it) and wear comfortable clothing.

  • Everything else is provided, including premium wireless headphones, a yoga mat, blanket, pillow, and eye mask. If you have a favorite blanket or pillow that makes you feel extra comfortable, you're welcome to bring it along—but there's absolutely no need.

5) Will I be breathing the entire session?

  • No. The actual breathing piece depends on the journey we choose. So if you are doing a 30-60-90-120 min that is the length you will breathe consistently but at your own pace.

  • The remainder of the session includes a warm welcome, breathing instruction, intention setting, the immersive breathwork experience, and time afterward for relaxation, reflection, and integration. Every part of the session is thoughtfully designed to help you feel comfortable, supported, and fully present from beginning to end.

6) What if I don't think I'm doing it right?

  • There is no "perfect" way to experience breathwork.

  • Every person's journey is unique, and every session can feel different. Some people experience physical sensations, emotions, deep relaxation, vivid imagery, or simply enjoy a peaceful sense of calm. Others may not notice much during their first session—and that's completely okay.

  • The most important thing is to stay curious, trust the process, and allow yourself to have your own experience without comparing it to anyone else's.

7) What if I can't keep up with the breathing?

  • That's completely okay. This isn't about breathing perfectly.

  • You'll always be encouraged to listen to your body and breathe at a pace that feels comfortable for you. If you need to slow down, take a break, or return to your natural breathing at any point, you're welcome to do so.

8) Is it normal to feel emotional during a session?

  • Yes. Breathwork can bring up a wide range of emotions, and every experience is unique. Some people laugh, some cry, some feel deeply relaxed, while others simply enjoy a peaceful sense of calm

  • Whatever your experience, you'll be supported in a safe, welcoming, and judgment-free environment.

9) What if I fall asleep?

  • That's perfectly okay! Deep relaxation is a common response during breathwork, especially if your body has been carrying stress or exhaustion.

  • Even if you drift off for part of the journey, your body is still benefiting from the opportunity to slow down, rest, and reset.

10) Can I eat before my session?

  • Yes, but I recommend avoiding a large meal within 1–2 hours before your session. A light snack is perfectly fine and is often more comfortable than participating on a full stomach.

  • Staying well hydrated before and after your session is also encouraged

11) How will I feel after the session?

  • Everyone's experience is unique. Many participants leave feeling lighter, calmer, more grounded, mentally clear, and deeply relaxed. Others notice increased energy, emotional release, or a renewed sense of connection with themselves.

  • I encourage you to give yourself a little extra time afterward to hydrate, reflect, and allow the experience to settle before jumping back into a busy schedule.

12) What if I need to stop during the session?

  • You are always in control of your experience.

  • If at any point you need to slow your breathing, take a break, sit up, or simply rest, you're encouraged to do so. Breathwork is never about pushing through discomfort—it's about listening to your body and honoring what you need in the moment.

  • Your well-being will always come first.
